Automotive Servicing (871026)
One Period Class
This is a basic course for ALL students (9th-12th grade/boys/girls). There are no prerequisites for this course. This course is NOT required to take the Auto 1 course.
Automotive Tech 1 (850627 & 850628)
Two Period Class
A two period course for 10th-12th grade boys/girls. There is NO prerequisite for this course. (Not available to freshman)
Automotive Tech 2 (850727)
Three Period Class (unless arrangements have been made)
A three period course for students that have successfully completed AUTO TECH 1. Students completing this course may be eligible to earn a Career and Technical Education Diploma Seal. (Boys/Girls)
Automotive Tech 3 (850827)
Three Period Class (unless arrangements have been made)

Skills USA:
The Hayfield Automotive Technology Club team competes in the SkillsUSA competitions. The first competition takes place in the fall at the Virginia State Fair. This year, Tarick Rehan and Jonathan Zambrano brought back the first place finish. The district competition takes place at the end of January. In 2011, Tarick Rehan won this event advancing to the SkillsUSA state competition in Hampton Roads. Out of the top 30 in the state, Tarick finished in 4th place and received a $5,000 scholarship for the University of Northwest Ohio where he plans to attend next year.
Hayfield Days Car Show:
In 2008, the Hayfield Automotive Technology department partnered up with Roy Eppard of Beatty Management and hte merchants of Hayfield Shopping Center for the first Hayfield Days Car Show. I n 2011, we held our 4th annual event. We would like to thank the Prince William Cruisers, Liz Dunn, Jeff Dunn, and Roy Eppard for making this event such a success. This event is held in the Fall. Club Orange After School Program:
7th and 8th grade students
Automotive Technology offers an after school program for middle school students through the Club Orange program. Activities include oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, wiper blade replacement, spark plug replacement and many other basic automotive repairs.
Car Donations:
The Hayfield Automotive Technology department relies on car donations for the students' success. The fully tax-deductable donations are used for the experiences of the students. The cars/trucks are used for demonstrations and some are repaired and sold at auction. The money is used for program funding. For donation infomration contact:
